I am a visual artist; I have begun a campaign to create awareness of the gross manipulation of information by the 6 corporations that control television content in this country. With the average American watching more than 4 hours of television each day, the TV plays a major role in creating the consciousness of Americans. By turning the television off and seeking alternative sources of information, Americans are likely to become better informed, consume less, healthier, and more highly engaged within the places we live. You can help the "Unplug the Signal" campaign by creating an effective online movie.

TV SUCKS I SEEN THIS MONTHS AGO AND MY HEAD HAD NEVER BEEN THIS CLEAR.. I never watch television because of lask of true in the media--lies are everywhere from the sports to the commercials and everywhere in between. I 100% get all of my news from alternative sources on the internet, I don't even watch television for my local weather. UNPLUG THE SIGNAL all the way!!

I get all my news off the alternative news sites on the web now.I might watch 12 hours of tv a week now.(it would probably be 8 if it were'nt for my racing weakness.)I found the joy of reading again.Now I just need to unplug from the computer a little more often.lol
