MatadorU Alumni Program (MAP)
Matador Network - Hybrid - www.matadornetwork.com
Matador Network, an independent media company, represents a travel community of truth seekers. We encourage contributors and over 1,000,000 monthly readers to explore and share global stories transparently. We advocate open and honest dialogue through our MatadorU program, endorsed by National Geographic Traveler as an important venue they use to find talented new writers and photographers. Matador seeks help identifying and securing sponsors to send select students on global awareness assignments upon graduation ranging from trips documenting vanishing cultures via photography to covering human-impact social events through narrative travel writing. Qualifying students will be selected through competitions and portfolio reviews.

The MatadorU's biggest asset is its community; the U is a unique program that encourages writers and photographers to interact and support each other. I've only just started, but so far it's been fantastic!

I can't think of a more worthy addition to your program: MatadorU is truly an organization that not only educates its students, but provides the network for them to succeed long after the program is done. MatadorU gets my vote!
