Dodging Pollution: An Underdog Story
Earthjustice - Non-Profit - www.earthjustice.org
Some of the worst air polluters have dodged controls for decades, pumping dirty air that makes playing outside a dangerous game for kids across the U.S. Though 2011 brings unprecedented opportunities to clean up these polluters, only public pressure can counteract the polluter lobby's influence. A humorous video can help: in a dodgeball game between kids and pollution, large men dressed as mercury, soot, and other pollutants hurl dodgeballs labeled with diseases (e.g. asthma ) while kids counter with balls marked "health" and "clean air". The message: join the kids' team to ensure dirty industries don't dodge clean air rules again.

Large coorporations make money from contaminating our water, air, and land. They have no sense of humanity or kinship to the human race. Someone needs to stop the waste and pollution. Thank goodness for Earth Justice!

We desperately need Earthjustice to do the work that the corrupt Washington politicians elected to protect us are not doing.

AS LONG AS WE VALUE MONEY MORE THAN THE ENVIRONMENT, THEN THOSE WHO HAVE STOLEN VAST SUMS OF IT AND BUY THEIR INFLUENCE IN WASHINGTON WILL CONTINUE TO RULE. CHANGE YOUR OWN VALUES AND STOP PATRONIZING THE MEGACORPS. VOTE FRO THOSE WHO TAKE THE LEAST FROM SPECIAL INTERESTS, REALIZE THAT OUR FREEDOMS EXTEND ONLY AS FAR AS THE LAWS OF NATURE ALLOW.

How much longer will the earth tolerate the pollution belching from smoke stacks, tail pipes, chimneys, etc. before we collectively cough up a policy and/or a solution?

Biomass power plants cause cancer and asthma related heart attacks. They make the air putrid and ugly for many miles, even effecting the micro climate.

I have been a member of Earthjustice for some time now and have found it to be an honest and viable way to reach my representatives in Congress and the Senate with regard to our rights for clean air in this United States and will continue to support this organization in every way that I possibly can.

Asthma is a frightening disease and the number 1 creason for pediatric admissions to hospitals. This makes it a very expensive disease too. Toxic particles in our air often triggers an asthma attack. We must clean up our air.

Apparently, throttling one person is felony assault while throttling thousands of people at a time chemically is "just business as usual". Hogwash! Enforce the laws and make the executives who allow/require it to do the "perp walk" in handcuffs in front of the cameras on their way to the paddy wagon.
