Our vision is to create a vibrant mutually cooperative community of two million committed participants who are using their land, labor, capital and votes to create the world they want to live in and leave for their children. With help from Free Range, we will create an interactive online tool that encourages people to be part of this movement to take on the big guys. It will provide an opportunity for people to work together to transform trade, and join us in standing up and saying, "This is not what we want!" to corporate agriculture, economic and social injustice.

What a fantastic company- I used to work there, and they always treated me well (even when I screwed up). Great company, Great product (I get their coffee whenever I can)- all in all, I like to feel good about what I drink!

Equal Exchange is made up of a wonderful group of worker-owners who all have a stake in and commitment to small scale farmers. In my experience they love their work precisely because they feel empowered to make a difference in the world. I believe that they put Fair Trade on the map in the USA. I know they are making a great positive difference among small farmers who have taken the the step to come together to form cooperatives or associations. Equal Exchange is faithful in helping their partners improve their products and business practices. There is now question in my mind that they are the #1 Socially-Responsible For-Profit Company in the world!

Equal Exchange is changing the lives of folks all around the world. I was lucky enough to go on a trip to Peru with Equal Exchange. I met farmers who cried to me about how instead of making moon shine with their sugar they now can sell it and make enough money from sugar and coffee to send their kids to college. They cried, yes grown men, from the pride they felt at being able to sustain their families. Go Equal Exchange!

Equal exchange has made me more aware of how coffee and chocolate forests are destroyed by poor management of these resources and I think anything they can do will be a benifit to the world as a whole. My vote goes to them.
