A Vibrant Mutually Cooperative Community
Equal Exchange - Profit - www.equalexchange.coop
Our vision is to create a vibrant mutually cooperative community of two million committed participants who are using their land, labor, capital and votes to create the world they want to live in and leave for their children. With help from Free Range, we will create an interactive online tool that encourages people to be part of this movement to take on the big guys. It will provide an opportunity for people to work together to transform trade, and join us in standing up and saying, "This is not what we want!" to corporate agriculture, economic and social injustice.

We sell $1500-$2000 worth of Equal Exchange products at our church once a month. Equal Exchange has made a huge impact on fair trade between producers and consumers and raising counsciousness for the supply chain. We love their products!

There isn't a better source of Fairly-Traded coffee, chocolate, or tea in the United States -- and it's a democratically-organized cooperative of the people who work there. They also support worker cooperatives in developing nations where our favorite legal stimulants are grown and receive their basic processing. And, their products are organically-grown which, in the case of coffee, means they're likely shade-grown and more friendly to birds and other forms of bio-diversity.

As part of the world wide network of Fair Trade , Equal Exchange is the voice of the American people in the fight to change the unjust rules which mitigate against the poor. You have my support in this endeavour.
