We envision a world where public finance data is accessible and easy to understand. Herculean efforts are often required to get government data. This barrier enables corruption and hurts those most in need. We collect and analyze fiscal data to ensure spending decisions don't harm vulnerable people. The data could be powerful in the hands of community leaders, but how do we meaningfully share it? By helping us develop exciting ways to share important but tedious finance data online, Free Range will help us energize and educate the public, so they have the right tools to create a better world.
