Free Range can help reduce suffering and create meaningful social change for animals by creating a movie to educate youth (target age range 13-18) about the inherent cruelty in mass dog breeding operations commonly known as puppy mills. Millions of puppies are born in shockingly poor conditions each year, many with behavior and/or health problems. Many people don't realize they're supporting this cruelty when they purchase a puppy in a pet store, over the Internet, or through a classified ad. By raising awareness, we can help stop a cycle of cruelty that contributes to pet overpopulation and the suffering of countless dogs.

The mills must be stopped. This is so sad to see puppies and kittens from them. I would like to add, try adopting a dog from a shelter. We have two and they are great dogs. Dont buy from pet stores, this helps fund the mills.

I just adopted Fiona ( lil pug) who was being abused and breeder at an Amish puppy mill. She is such a wonderful little dog and I can't even thnk about her being mistreated, the entire puppy mill situation makes me sick! We need laws and enforcement to protect ALL THE DEFENSELESS, including our little animals..

No animal should have to endure the treatment these poor dogs live with every day of their lives. It's greed that causes people to do this. Greed and callousness of their hearts. Maybe that's how they were raised, but it's way past time these puppies were set free and given a loving, forever home of their own. That's all they want, and they deserve it! Down with puppy mills!!!

Lawlessness that costs the public money, time,unnessary vet bills, by fraudly mis-representing a living product (puppies) as well bred, sound of mind, body,limb,gait, healthy, with healthy potential, no inheritable defects,parasite & illness free, while actually offering the opposite, is bait & switch, con artist, criminal behavior that should be treated as such, by protective ,laws,created by experts in the animal husbandry field.These criminals shouldnt get a free pass to con artist bait & switch, because its an puppy.

Animals are not merchandise. Nothing justifies the horrible lives the puppy/kitten/etc. mill animals are forced to endure for the greed of their "owners". I genuinely believe the owners must be pathological to do what they do. SAVE ANIMALS FROM CRUELTY.
