"Money" itself is the most pervasive and powerful element of the Commons. It behooves us of this civilization to start thinking about its very nature, or we cannot even begin to solve our social problems. It is our wont to treat it like the wind; knowing not whence it comes, nor whither it goes. We hoist our personal financial sail trying to catch enough of its flow to propel our personal boat, while neglecting weightier matter of at last discerning the "whence" and "whither" of this all-important element. I am grateful to Joel for his work in directing our attention in a fundamental way towards the vital subject of "Money".
