I stopped doing TV in 1986 and recommend that everyone try it and see how different life becomes when you stop being told how you should feel, what the meaning of a speech was , how fearful we should all be.

You know... the planet isn't going to arrive at a point where it's fed up and gets mad and do something "to us". Rather it will continue to calmly, slowly change to something else... the atmosphere, the oceans will become chemically different than the way they were when it brought our species and all the others we have shared Earth with for so long forth and have pretty much remained for millions of years. Nature will find a new equilibrium amid all the exotic, toxic waste we have strewn everywhere, bring forth new creatures that can break it down and utilize it's elemental properties in their cell structures but what we don't seem to realize in sufficient numbers is that we will in all likelihood not be part of that new reality. What emerges will be Earth life, but will as different from the ecosystems we know now as the ecosystem of the Cretaceous was to the world of right now or as the Cambrian was to the Cretaceous. We are blowing it big time. Just as with the life forms of those eras, all this we are will never be again.
