I am a visual artist; I have begun a campaign to create awareness of the gross manipulation of information by the 6 corporations that control television content in this country. With the average American watching more than 4 hours of television each day, the TV plays a major role in creating the consciousness of Americans. By turning the television off and seeking alternative sources of information, Americans are likely to become better informed, consume less, healthier, and more highly engaged within the places we live. You can help the "Unplug the Signal" campaign by creating an effective online movie.

Even "alternative" media is dominated by brainwashing (divide and conquer) strategies. Some of the worst include World Net Daily, NEWSMAX, Truthdig, Alternet, and so-called "peace" organizations like FCNL, CodePink and World Can't Wait. Let's not dignify Iraq and Afghanistan by calling them 'wars'--they are occupations which are founded upon lies of biblical proportions--the lies of 9-11.

TV, radio, Movies, newsprint, all are made to do nothing but brainwash and deceive the masses. If it is on tv it is there to deceive, corrupt and destroy society. Turn it off and leave it off.

Oops, guess I already registered... I stopped doing TV in 1986 and recommend that everyone try it and see how different life becomes when you stop being told how you should feel, what the meaning of a speech was , how fearful we should all be.
