Natural capital belongs to the countries and natural deficit is a by-product of the rich ones. It is the Global South who own and work the last healthy, high biodiversity areas that sustain life on Earth, they should be sacred. There is an alternative voluntary way to reduce CO2 involving rural South communities in high biodiversity areas and to share the burden of caring for Nature's values: wildlife, water, fresh air, climate regulation, carbon dioxide capture, landscape management, recreation services, and peace of mind. Help us transfer this know-how, recognize the people who maintain our Biosphere.

Es menester social emprender proyectos de desarrollo sustentable como el de Sierra Gorda. aunque suene trillado nos estamos acabando el mundo. ¿Porqué esperar a un desenlace fatal antes de actuar? Hagámoslo ya, pongamos nuestro granito de arena, es más, seamos un granito de arena y formemos el arenal total del cambio en beneficio del planeta, de nosotros mismos y las generaciones venideras, si es que queremos que existan.

Passion and commitment to save the earth characterize the Directors and staff of this pro-active organization. Working up to 12 hours most days and most weekends have led them to find and implement ways for the impoverished towns of the area to generate some income, such as teaching the residents to create beautiful craft items: embroidered blouses for infants, coffee cups and decorating items reflecting the beauty of the Reserve, attractive T-shirts featuring the wild life of the Reserve, to mention just a few.
Families in the area are being taught how to plant vegetables, how to protect trees and wild life, how to cook without burning wood, how to conduct ecotours and to value and protect Earth.
Definitely an organization worthy of praise.

Let us set the record straight: Mexico, by all standards is part of North America, it is also located gepgraphically in the Northern Hemisphere.
Sierra Gorda it is located in the Mexican State of Queretaro, "where the
History of Mexico started, many times during the past 5 centuries.
The "Missions", started at "Sierra Gorda" and being part of Queretaro, this region has been left behind the economic development of such State.
Many good people have worked there, specially during the past Century,
including Clergy and othe persons of many Creeds and origins.
It is time to support the effort of the current generous persons to keep such beautiful place as a key factor in helping our Global Healing of our
Planet Earth.

around the World. -
