At Grist, we have a little problem. As a green media platform committed to "irreverent environmentalism", we're tempted to shun Earth Day. But we know it's the one day when all eyes are on the issues. So each year, we spend a lot of time wondering what the eff we're going to do to "celebrate", and how we can use it to mobilize more people to work toward a sustainable world. We've gotten pretty creative in the past (take our Screw Earth Day and Earth: FML campaigns), but we want this year's campaign to be the freshest, most eye-catching yet.
