As wildlife conservation in the Western US becomes ever more embroiled in the identity politics of the nation, bringing different constituencies together for conservation grows more difficult. NRCC has a history of working constructively - but quietly - at the grassroots for successful wildlife conservation across constituencies. Now is the time to bring 20 years of lesson on wildlife coexistence to a broader audience, with the message that conservation, even of contentious species like wolves and bears, should, and can, be a common goal no matter what your politics. We seek help in creating an identity for this new project.

I have spent the last 2 summers in this area, it is beautiful country.How ever I ran into people who don't understand or believe coexistence with nature;especially wolves; is possible. Many of these people love the landscape but do not understand the land and the eco system as a whole.
