Zahelu - The Connection
Eco Value - Non-Profit - www.ecovalue.org.in
"Zahelu - The Connection" is about telling the urban youth that they are part of the nature. Usually, nature to them is something that one does on a Sunday or on a vacation. I wish to make an online movie that connects people with nature; it tells them that they are a part of the nature. And, whether they like it or not, they interact with it, and it affects them directly.
For the movie to be effective, it needs to be made creatively and with passion. I know I need your help to make that difference.

I agree that the youth has a crucial role to play in environmental preservation, especially in this day and age of rapid urbanisation.

Yes, it is very much needed in the developing country like us - India. Today's youths are well endowed with information and are quite aware of the need for nature. Governement on the othrer hand have accepted certain policies which are quite confusing to each and every one. There are reasons for and they could be privately beneficial to many.
But, what is of most importance now is to let the new generation know what they missed and if not taken proper action right now, what they definitely miss for good. All they will have is to read about it in books or see it on screen. The glory and treasure is never to be back again. All there will be just a history which is hardly one interested in.
