Some 350,000 mothers worldwide die each year during child birth. Eight million children die before the age of five. These are deaths that could have been prevented or treated. Save the Children is creating a global movement to save more lives by improving the health of mothers and children. Help us highlight what the world would be if your survival did not depend on where you were born. Using Mother's Day 2011, help us create a video that captures the essence of motherhood and inspires people globally to make a difference.

I am an african single mom and I am very aware of the challenges that we face in the struggletowards the survival of our dear ones against diseases.
