I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Conscious Communication for Change

    BayNVC - Non-Profit - www.BayNVC.org

Can you imagine a world in which everyone matters and people have the skills for making peace? Nonviolent Communication (NVC), the practice informing this vision, nurtures responsibility for our choices and feelings, and the capacity to meet others with empathy. Mutual understanding and care for our shared human needs can then provide a foundation for connecting across our differences to resolve conflicts with ease.

Collaborating with Free Range can increase visibility for the tools and consciousness of NVC, allowing many more people to wake up, transform their habitual responses to life, and contribute to a world that works for all.

  2. Beyond the Walls of Violence

    Insight Prison Project - Non-Profit - www.insightprisonproject.org

Free Range can "avert a lot of hurt" by viralling curt, compelling visuals on Felons Gone Good through IPP's reliable rehab programs at San Quentin and elsewhere. Our groups bring crime victims and offenders together, inspiring personal insight, accountability and compassion for all. Our groups are a confluence of ancestral, cultural, and historical trauma, holding old members of Dr. King's marches and the American Indian Movement, and victims of Khmer Rouge, along with the victims of our streets. We need to reach prison policymakers across the nation to prove the revolving door prison system can be fixed.

  4. Giving Peace a Chance

    American Friends of Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam - Non-Profit - www.oasisofpeace.org

Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam is a unique place in the world. Every morning, Palestinian and Jewish neighbors wake up in that same village, take their children to the same binational school and go to work with their fellow Jewish and Palestinian coworkers. Together, they live what many have dreamed of: harmonious coexistence between Palestinians and Jews. For thirty years, the residents of Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam have paved the way to a peaceful future for the two populations and they enthusiastically continue to do so every day. Everyday they create a better world.
