Dodging Pollution: An Underdog Story

Earthjustice - Non-Profit - www.earthjustice.org

Some of the worst air polluters have dodged controls for decades, pumping dirty air that makes playing outside a dangerous game for kids across the U.S. Though 2011 brings unprecedented opportunities to clean up these polluters, only public pressure can counteract the polluter lobby's influence. A humorous video can help: in a dodgeball game between kids and pollution, large men dressed as mercury, soot, and other pollutants hurl dodgeballs labeled with diseases (e.g. asthma ) while kids counter with balls marked "health" and "clean air". The message: join the kids' team to ensure dirty industries don't dodge clean air rules again.

It is imperative that we stop polluting our environment since it afftects all aspects of our nature, be human or organic. Polluters must be stopped and alternatives must be found to save the environment and its inhabitants

When we care about and act as stewards toward our incredible environment and all its wonders and magical relationships, we are connected to creation through our hearts.

We need to remember that we are the protectors of the Earth and not the destroyers.

I support Earth Justice and I believe in clean air. Too many children are developoing asthma and other respiratory diseases due to poor air quality; they shouldn't have to deal with this.

Of the many things we need to "clean up" in this world, our AIR is one of the most vital. I support EarthJustice's ideas for putting some plans into action!

How pathetic is it, that we have to try to convince our government to fight for clean air so we can breathe?

Don't let polluters continue to clog our air and the damaging effects to our environment.

The most pressing issue facing us is this. If this is not addressed, all the work we do to resolve other issues will be irrelevant.

Cant believe we have to ask our government for clean air!!!!! This is what power and money does to people - they would rather kill the planet and life in general for their own greed and selfishness. Very sad! I hope one day they see their evilness.
