  A little more bending at the waist (waste) for everyone and we would have healtier folks and a cleaner environment.

  We've been doing this for several years here at the mouth of the Potomac River. It's a great campaign that nets more than just a trash-free river. We use the clean up opportunity to connect people to the river itself and to increase knowledge of the relationship between humans and nature.

  AFF can make it happen! Getting people to think about the trash floating around our neighborhoods, and maybe they'll start using fewer resources and putting trash and recycling where it belongs.

  I have been helping with the shoreline cleanups for a number of years in southern Fairfax County. It is making a difference. Thanks for the initiative!
