  I can not think of anything more important than a project which helps reduce water, increases the yield and improves the health of the farmer, all at the same time. SRI is something that needs to be adopted wherever possible and thanks to the folks at Lotus Foods, this can become that much more of a reality.

  Lotus Foods is amazing. The fact that they are working with local farmers to grow rice using less water is nothing short of amazing! It's nice to know that some companies are looking out for more than just the bottom line.

  I have nothing but good things to say about Lotus Foods. They provide income and stabilization to rice growers in rural areas and teach them about SRI and sustainable agriculture, protect heirloom breeds of rice and educate us about the different rices, and bring delicious healthy rices to those of us who cannot easily have access to them.

  So excited that a company like Lotus Foods exists... For-Profit companies with sustainable business practices are the best hope we have at a future. Here's to Lotus Foods winning a grant that will help them spread their reach even further!

  Lotus, owned/founded by Caryl & Ken, has always offered more than just food products...heirloom, sustainable, whole grains, and they taste great.
  Lotus now takes it to the next level with SRI - we can no longer ignore world hunger and Lotus gives us a workable solution. Go rice!

  I support this work and have seen great results in a number of countries. This simple intervention has the greatest potential to improve food security for the poorest ( and the richer ) rice farmers around the world. I have seen yields increase by over 100% using organic methods. LOTUS FOODS is supporting this by helping farms sell this EARTH FRIENDLY rice!

  Lotus Foods is the best for the planet rice. Great for environment, workers, animals, and consumers. Uses less water with fewer seeds and greater yields. Lotus Foods is the answer for feeding rice to the planet. Now growers can have more land to grow other plants. Plus Lotus Foods is fair trade with the growers making more money to support their families. Also, they have fewer health problems now that they do not have to work in stagnant waters! Consumers love it for the high nutritional values and easy to cook, great tasting rice. Animals love Lotus Foods for it does not harm the environment with pesticides, herbicides or any unwanted and unneeded chemicals. Great for biodiversity! WE LOVE LOTUS FOODS!

  SRI is a simple solution to food security, stopping migration of farmers, water saving, inundating less fertilisers in our soils besides empowering the farmers...
  Lotus food is doing excellent work in promoting SRI rice.
